Job Title: Quality Control Technician I – QC Lab Support
Schedule: 100% Onsite | Day Shift | Sun–Wed, 7:00 AM–6:00 PM (410)
Duration: 12 months contract
Pay Rate: $23/hour
Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician I to support QC laboratory operations in a GMP/FDA-regulated environment. The role involves sample receipt, documentation, LIMS data entry, sample processing, storage, shipping, and coordination with QC, QA, Manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, verify, log, label, store, and process QC samples.
- Coordinate internal and external sample transfers and shipping activities.
- Maintain sample records, chain of custody, logbooks, and processing documentation.
- Support QC investigations, deviations, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant sample storage areas.
- Follow all GMP, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree; OR AA degree with 2+ years of QC/biopharma lab experience; OR High School diploma with 3+ years of relevant experience.
- GMP experience in a QC laboratory preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office/Excel; ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changing priorities.
