About the Role

High Point Residence Chester is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team.

In this role, you will provide hands-on care and daily support to residents while helping create a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment. You will work closely with our nursing team to provide quality, person-centered care and make a meaningful difference in residents’ everyday lives.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in the state of Illinois

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Strong communication skills with residents, families, and team members

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Basic computer skills

• Ability to work every other weekend

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in long-term care, supportive living, assisted living, or senior living

• Experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities

Key Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility

• Monitor and record vital signs as assigned

• Assist with resident care needs under the direction of the nursing team

• Provide emotional support, encouragement, and companionship to residents

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment

• Observe and promptly report changes in residents’ condition to the nursing team

• Complete accurate and timely documentation of care provided

• Work collaboratively with nurses, caregivers, and other team members to support resident needs
