Field Service

Pro-Tech Safe is a family-owned and operated company based in Orange County, California. We specialize in the sales, installation, maintenance, repair and relocation of safes, cash automation systems, casino equipment, cash recyclers and ATMs.

We are looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined Service Technician to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on troubleshooting, working with technology and providing excellent customer service.

As a Service Technician, you'll work directly with customers to install, maintain and repair specialized equipment, ensuring their systems remain operational and reliable.

As a Pro-Tech Safe Service Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Installing, servicing, maintaining and repairing cash automation and electronic equipment from multiple manufacturers.

• Identifying and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and technical malfunctions.

• Responding to service requests and resolving equipment issues in a timely manner.

• Providing professional, courteous customer service and maintaining clear communication with customers.

• Maintaining accurate records of service visits, repairs and equipment maintenance.

• Organizing and managing tools, replacement parts and service inventory.

• Working independently in the field while coordinating with the Pro-Tech Safe team to meet customer needs.

Our technicians service a variety of commercial cash-handling systems, including:

• Cash recyclers

• Smart safes and currency counters

• Casino cash automation equipment

• Self-service kiosks

• Additional banking, casino and retail automation equipment

Training will be provided to help technicians become familiar with the equipment and systems they will service.

We're seeking someone who combines technical ability with professionalism and a willingness to learn.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and an interest in electronic equipment repair.

• Ability to troubleshoot problems, identify solutions and perform repairs.

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.

• Dependable, organized and able to manage time effectively.

• Comfortable working independently and taking responsibility for assigned service calls.

• Professional, trustworthy and detail-oriented.

• Willingness to learn new technologies and work with equipment from multiple manufacturers.

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Must be at least 21 years old.

• Valid driver's license with a minimum of two years of driving history.

• Ability to pass background check.

• Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 75 pounds.

• Previous experience with ATMs, cash automation, electronic repair or related equipment is preferred but not required.

This position requires regular travel to customer locations throughout an assigned service territory. Essentially this role will service 4 Customers located in:

• Jamul, CA

• El Cajon, CA

• Pauma Valley, CA

• Cabazon, CA

Service calls involve same-day travel.

A company vehicle and gas card will be provided for business-related travel.

This is a full-time field service position. Work hours may fluctuate based on service requests and customer needs. Candidates should be comfortable with a flexible schedule, including working Saturdays when necessary.
