Customer Service Representative

Hybrid – Madison, WI | Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. | $20–$21.75/hour

Do you enjoy helping people, solving problems, and creating positive customer experiences? Demco is looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team.

At Demco, we support libraries and learning communities, and our Customer Service team plays an important role in making sure every customer receives friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive service.

What You’ll Do

• Assist customers with questions about orders, products, pricing, billing, shipping, and our websites.
• Resolve returns, replacements, credits, damaged items, missing parts, and delivery issues.
• Provide updates on product availability, lead times, and backorders.
• Support customers through phone, email, web, and other communication channels.
• Complete accurate order entry and maintain customer information.
• Partner with coworkers across Demco to solve customer problems.

What You’ll Bring

• Customer service experience, preferably in a call center or high-volume environment.
• Experience assisting customers with e-commerce websites.
• Strong computer and data-entry skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• A friendly, customer-focused approach.

Schedule & Compensation

This is a hybrid position based out of our Madison, Wisconsin facility. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

Pay: $20–$21.75 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
