Kitchen Assistant (Part-Time/Full-Time)
Pay: Starting at $18.50 per hour + Tip Pool
Job Type: Part-time (30 hours) / 3 days 10 hours
About the Role
We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and motivated Kitchen Assistant to join our growing team. This position plays an important role in supporting our kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and assisting the Prep Cook as needed.

Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and food items according to company recipes and standards.
- Assist the Prep Cook with daily food preparation and production.
- Wash, cut, portion, and package ingredients.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and prep area.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company procedures.
- Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries.
- Help with inventory organization and stock rotation.
- Perform general cleaning duties to keep the kitchen operating efficiently.
- Complete other kitchen-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen or food preparation experience is preferred but not required.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
- Responsible, dependable, and punctual.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Valid California Food Handler Card is required, or the ability to obtain one before starting employment.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
