Human Resource Manager

Location: Americus, Georgia
Reports to: Director of Human Resources

Tamarack Foods is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead day-to-day HR operations and serve as a trusted partner to employees and leaders. This role has a direct hand in how we hire, develop, support, and retain our team. You will bring sound judgment to sensitive employee matters, practical solutions to business needs, and a commitment to treating people fairly.

• Partner with leaders on staffing, retention, employee development, and succession planning.

• Manage recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding across the organization.

• Coach managers on performance feedback, employee relations, discipline, and separations.

• Address workplace concerns and conduct timely, thorough investigations when needed.

• Support benefits, leave requests, and reasonable accommodations.

• Review compensation and benefits trends and recommend ways to remain competitive.

• Coordinate required training and development through Alchemy.

• Oversee daily HR workflow and ensure policies are applied consistently.

• Maintain compliance with applicable employment laws and stay current on HR best practices.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• A bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Three or more years of HR management experience preferred.

• Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.

• Sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion with confidential information.

• Working knowledge of employment laws and HR practices.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn HR systems.

• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification highly desired; experience with Alchemy and Sage is a plus.
