What You'll Do

As a Conformal Coating Machine Operator, you'll be responsible for applying protective coatings to printed circuit boards (PCBs) that help ensure electronic products perform reliably in demanding environments.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Operating conformal coating equipment and related production machinery.
• Preparing circuit boards by cleaning surfaces to ensure proper coating adhesion.
• Masking sensitive components before the coating process.
• Applying protective coatings using automated equipment, spray systems, dispensing methods, or dip processes.
• Monitoring coating quality and making adjustments as needed.
• Curing coated boards according to established manufacturing procedures.
• Inspecting finished products under UV lighting to verify proper coverage and identify defects.
• Following production documentation, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Supporting SMT and other electronic manufacturing operations when required.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

• Experience operating machinery or production equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work with small components and perform detailed inspections.
• Comfortable following written work instructions and standardized procedures.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced production setting.

• Experience with conformal coating processes.
• Electronics manufacturing or PCB assembly experience.
• Familiarity with SMT equipment and electronic assembly processes.
• Experience using spray equipment, paint systems, or coating applications.
• Knowledge of inspection techniques and quality control processes.

This position is based in a modern electronics manufacturing facility. The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
