Production Worker

Summary:

The Production Worker supports Mettle Ops’ manufacturing operations by performing hands-on assembly, equipment operation, and material handling tasks. This role ensures products are built to quality standards while maintaining efficiency and safety on the production floor. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and works well in a fast-paced, team-focused environment, contributing directly to projects that support U.S. defense operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate production equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.

• Assemble components and perform visual and dimensional inspections for quality compliance.

• Maintain clean, organized workstations and assist in production setup and teardown.

• Handle materials, packaging, labeling, and prepare finished goods for shipment.

• Follow production schedules and communicate any issues or delays to supervisors.

• Document completed work, inventory movement, and report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns.

• Collaborate with team members to improve workflow, processes, and productivity.

• Adhere to company and OSHA safety standards and participate in regular safety inspections.

Work Environment and Conditions:

• Environment: Primarily indoors; work performed in manufacturing and warehouse areas across multiple nearby buildings.

• Physical Demands: Standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs for extended periods.

• Communication: Regular interaction with production staff, supervisors, and delivery personnel.

• Pace: Moderate to fast-paced with emphasis on accuracy and meeting production deadlines.
