Distribution Technician

Job Title: Distribution Technician Location: Gainesville, GA Job Type: Contract Pay: $20.00 per hour Schedule: 7am - 4:30 pm -- extra OT available Work Model: Onsite Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Distribution Technician to support warehouse operations through inventory control, order fulfillment, shipping, receiving, and material handling. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting cycle counts, researching discrepancies, and preparing both domestic and international shipments while ensuring compliance with company procedures and safety standards. Responsibilities:

• Manage inventory control for finished goods and warehouse equipment.
• Perform cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Pick, pack, verify, and prepare orders for shipment.
• Receive, inspect, screen, prepare, and store incoming inventory.
• Support domestic and international shipping operations.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate inventory and shipping documentation.
• Follow all safety procedures and warehouse best practices.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• 1 year of warehouse and inventory control(computerized) experience preferred
• Picking, packing, and verification of orders-- Freeze Dried 2-7, Frozen LN -196C, Frozen Dry Ice -80C, and warehouse items 2-25C
• Strong computer skills with good written and verbal communication.
• Required to maintain a forklift/pallet jack operator's license.
• Able to lift up to 75-pound items and carry it a distance of 10 feet, as well as push/pull
• Must be able to squat, bet, abs stoop, as well as twisting and turning
• Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time
• Required to be safety conscious in performing daily tasks
• Must be able to manage diverse responsibilities independent of supervision
• Ability to stay focus and efficient under shifting priorities
• Attendance is a must, some weekend work required
• Manual dexterity and visual acuity are required
