Position Summary
The Server is responsible for providing friendly, attentive, and efficient service while creating a
positive guest experience. This position takes orders, delivers food and beverages,
communicates with the kitchen and support team, and ensures guests receive accurate, timely,
and professional service.
Key Responsibilities
Greet guests promptly and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.
Accurately take food and beverage orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system.
Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, specials, and available beverage
offerings.
Deliver food and beverages promptly and verify order accuracy.
Monitor tables throughout the guest experience and anticipate additional needs.
Communicate allergies, dietary restrictions, special requests, and guest concerns to the
appropriate team members.
Work closely with food runners, bussers, hosts, bartenders, kitchen staff, and
management to support smooth service.
Process guest checks and payments accurately when applicable.
Maintain clean and organized tables, service stations, and assigned sections.
Follow responsible alcohol-service procedures when serving beer or other permitted
alcoholic beverages.
Assist with banquet, event, buffet, and special-service needs as assigned.
Complete assigned opening, closing, cleaning, and side-work duties.
Qualifications
Previous restaurant, banquet, hospitality, or customer-service experience preferred.
Strong communication, hospitality, and multitasking skills.
Ability to work efficiently and remain professional in a fast-paced environment.
Basic math and cash-handling skills.
Ability to learn menu items and service procedures.
Must meet applicable food safety and alcohol-service requirements.
