Location: Chicago, IL
Pay: $25/hour
Schedule: Must be flexible and able to accommodate shift changes

Position Overview

Kelly® is seeking an Inventory & Logistics Technology Associate to support a premier manufacturing client in Chicago, IL.

This position is ideal for someone with experience in inventory management, warehousing, logistics, distribution, or supply chain operations who is organized, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The Inventory & Logistics Technology Associate will help maintain accurate inventory, support warehouse operations, follow established procedures, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure materials move efficiently throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage warehouse inventory, including receiving, check-in, put-away, labeling, and organization of stock.

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure materials are properly stored and identified.

  • Perform regular cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies.

  • Work closely with the sales and operations teams to support accurate and timely inventory flow.

  • Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for warehouse and logistics activities.

  • Support internal and external inventory audits.

  • Assist with inventory, warehouse, logistics, and supply chain projects.

  • Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.

  • Communicate inventory issues, shortages, discrepancies, or other concerns to appropriate team members.

  • Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in distribution, warehousing, logistics, inventory management, or supply chain operations.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to follow established procedures and maintain accurate records.

  • Ability to take initiative and work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate shift changes.

Preferred:

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.

  • Previous experience with inventory management systems or warehouse technology.

  • Experience performing cycle counts or supporting inventory audits.
