We’re hiring an experiencedQuality Engineerto join a growing, high-end precision manufacturing operation inSan Jose, CA.
This is a high-ownership role for someone who enjoys getting to the bottom of difficult manufacturing problems. You’ll work directly withengineering, manufacturing, quality, and customersto investigate issues, determine root cause, implement corrective actions, and drive problems through resolution.
Rather than sitting behind a desk reviewing paperwork, you’ll be closely connected to the manufacturing floor and the components being produced.

What You'll Do:
- Leadroot-cause investigationsfor manufacturing and customer quality issues.
- OwnCAPAs and corrective actionsfrom initial investigation through resolution.
- Investigate internalnonconformancesand determine appropriate next steps.
- Partner with engineering and manufacturing onrepair and disposition strategies.
- Prepare and managedeviation requestsand customer quality notifications.
- SupportPPAPdocumentation and approval processes.
- Support process qualification and validation activities, includingIQ/OQ/PQ.
- Communicate directly with customers regarding quality issues, investigations, and corrective actions.
- Work closely with CNC manufacturing and engineering teams to prevent recurring problems.
- Help strengthen quality processes as the manufacturing operation continues to grow.
Requirements
- Quality Engineering experience within amanufacturing environment.
- Strong experience withroot-cause analysis and corrective action.
- Hands-on experience owningCAPAs.
- Experience withPPAP and formal quality documentation.
- Familiarity withIQ/OQ/PQ or manufacturing process validation.
- Experience managingnonconformances and deviations.
- Strong technical communication skills and confidence working directly with customers.
- Experience within aprecision CNC machining environment is highly preferred.
