Part-Time Document Control Assistant

The Document Control team serves as the primary point-of-contact between SECo/Tier 1 and the clients with regard to the exchange of client drawings and related files (in electronic and hard copy format). This position requires strong organizational and tracking skills in order to provide administrative support to the Document Controllers.

Typical duties include (but are not limited to):

• Operates and administrates the use of Commercial Document Control Software.
• Requests drawing files/documents from clients as needed.
• Requests new drawing numbers from clients as needed.
• Receives/stores client drawing files in the appropriate folder locations and notifies technical staff upon receipt of information.
• Tracks project document history and maintains communication log of all incoming/outgoing documents.
• Accesses Client FTP or folder sites as required to upload/download documentation.
• Scans client documents as needed.
• Prepares all outgoing deliverables for shipment and coordinates with carriers as needed.
• Contributes to the success of SECo and Tier 1.

Desired Education, Experience and Training

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong administrative and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Effective communicator with the ability to support team members at all levels.
• Quality-driven mindset with attention to accuracy and detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional environments.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
