Position Type: Full-time, Temp-to-hire
Description: This position will be responsible for the day-to-day financial operations and the stewardship of mission-driven funds. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in fund accounting, grant and contract compliance and maintaining tax exempt status. This role will prepare a variety of financial reports, assume ownership of month/year-end processes, oversee payables and receivables functions, lead annual audit and the creation of implementation of controls that prevent fraud and ensure compliance with OMB Uniform Guidance. This role will also be responsible for supervising and mentoring accounting staff.
Position Requires: 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 2 years in nonprofit fund accounting. Knowledge of GAAP. Candidates with their CPA or experience with AccuFund are strongly desired.
