Yard Worker
Automation Personnel Services is hiring aYard Workerfor a company inLawrenceville, GA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a stable and growing team while developing your forklift and material handling skills in a fast-paced outdoor environment. $18.00 per hour

Yard Worker Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely operate a forklift to load and unload materials from trucks.
- Move materials throughout the yard and place them in designated storage areas.
- Ensure materials are stacked, stored, and secured properly to prevent damage.
- Manually lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Assist with organizing inventory and maintaining an efficient yard layout.
- Inspect materials for quality and report any damaged products.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
- Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE.
- Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.
- Assist with general yard maintenance and other duties as assigned.
Yard Worker Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous forklift experience preferred.
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Basic knowledge of material handling and warehouse or yard operations.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
