We supply parts for all major military aircraft, fixed and rotary, as well as ground-support systems you likely see often in the news. We are also on most Boeing and a few Airbus planes, and are working towards some SpaceX projects in 2026.
This is a full-time on-site role for a motivated Junior Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career engineer who wants to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic job shop manufacturing environment. The position will support senior engineers, machinists and production staff in developing, improving, and documenting manufacturing processes. Candidate will be comfortable working with high-mix, low-volume production and will play a key role in improving efficiency, quality, and throughput.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in developing and documenting manufacturing processes for new and existing parts
- Help create process sheets, work instructions, and routings
- Generate CAD drawings and product structures to accurately match and clearly communicate customer requirements.
- Define manufacturing tolerances
- Support tooling and fixture design for machining and fabrication operations
- Work with machinists and programmers to improve efficiency and workflow
- Assist with troubleshooting production issues and implementing corrective actions
- Participate in manufacturability reviews for incoming jobs
- Help identify opportunities for cycle time reduction and cost improvement
- Ensure processes follow company quality and safety standards
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or near completion)
- Internship, co-op, or hands-on experience in manufacturing or machining preferred
- Basic knowledge of CNC machining, milling, turning, or fabrication processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Understanding of GD&T and ASME Y14.5 is a plus.
- CAD/CAM experience is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skill
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
