Operations Manager

Are you a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced distribution environment? We are looking for an Operations Manager to help lead our warehouse and delivery operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being involved in the day-to-day operation, developing employees, solving problems, and making sure products and trucks are ready to go accurately and efficiently.

As Operations Manager, you’ll work closely with the Director of Operations and play an important role in keeping our warehouse, inventory, fleet, and delivery operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

• Supervise and provide day-to-day direction to warehouse and delivery employees
• Coordinate truck routing, load assignments, and night-loading priorities
• Ensure trucks are loaded accurately and ready for delivery
• Perform and oversee daily inventory reconciliation with a focus on 100% accuracy
• Verify returning truck inventory and load reports
• Coordinate will-call, hot-shot, house account, and special-event orders
• Verify incoming brewery loads and document shortages or overages
• Oversee product returns, out-of-code product, close-to-code product, and breakage
• Help maintain proper replenishment and organization of warehouse pick areas
• Assist with daily manpower scheduling and vacation coverage
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, training, and developing employees
• Hold employees accountable for established work processes, policies, and procedures
• Work with the Director of Operations on employee performance and disciplinary matters
• Promote a clean, organized, safe, and secure work environment
• Ensure required forklift and DOT-related inspections and documentation are completed
• Train employees on safety practices and participate in company safety initiatives
• Assist with facility security, vehicle licensing, fleet planning, and other operational responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a dependable leader who can balance operational priorities while building a strong team. The successful candidate will have:

• Previous supervisory, warehouse, distribution, logistics, or related operational experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to hold employees accountable while contributing to a positive team environment
• Strong attention to detail, particularly with inventory and load accuracy
• Ability to communicate effectively with employees and customers
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and company procedures
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and work effectively with warehouse, routing, and inventory software
• Associate degree in a related field or equivalent relevant work experience
• Beverage distribution or beverage industry experience is helpful
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required within 6 months of employment. Paid training available.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

This is an active, hands-on supervisory position. Candidates must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment that may include damp or cold conditions.

The position requires frequent standing, walking, sitting, reaching, and grasping, along with occasional stair climbing. Employees may occasionally lift cases weighing approximately 25–30 pounds and may occasionally be required to lift up to 100 pounds with appropriate equipment or assistance.
