Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Duct Mechanic
to perform commercial HVAC ductwork installation on construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience installing, assembling, and fitting duct systems in commercial buildings while maintaining quality, safety, and productivity standards.
Responsibilities:
Install, assemble, and fabricate HVAC ductwork in commercial construction settings.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and ductwork layouts.
Install sheet metal duct, fittings, transitions, dampers, and related HVAC components.
Measure, cut, fit, and secure ductwork according to project specifications.
Install duct supports, hangers, and associated hardware.
Coordinate with other trades to ensure proper installation and project progress.
Follow all company and jobsite safety requirements.
Requirements:
Previous experience as an HVAC Duct Mechanic in commercial construction.
Ability to read blueprints and follow installation specifications.
Experience using hand tools and power tools for ductwork installation.
Must provide all required hand tools and power tools.
Must provide all required personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hat, safety glasses, work gloves, high-visibility vest, and work boots as required by the jobsite.
Ability to work at heights, lift materials, and perform physically demanding construction tasks.
Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
