Position: Staff Accountant
Location: Chicago Metro
Compensation: $65-75K DOE + generous bonus and benefit package

As a Staff accountant, you will provide vital support to help streamline the company’s financial processes. Responsibilities
- Maintain General Ledger, record and document company financial transactions
- Journal Entries, with month, quarter and year-end close
- Perform bank reconciliations and balance financial records
- Keep updated budgets and oversee monthly payroll disbursements and invoices
- Prepare and present regular reports about company finances including budgets, debts, deficits, expenditures, and revenue
- Review data to ensure that proper procedures are being followed
- Identify and resolve financial discrepancies
- Utilize database management systems to maintain up-to-date record keeping of financial documents
Requirements
- BS in Accounting with minimum three (3) years’ accounting experience in manufacturing industry
- Possess outstanding General Accounting skills
- Knowledge of all GAAP accounting standards
- Able to work within a team reaching deadlines with little to no supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong critical thinking and mathematical reasoning skills
- Proficiency with Excel; QB and ERP software required
- Proficiency in Sage 50 and Odoo a plus
