Software Developer

Global is a leading provider of innovative technology and mission-focused solutions supporting government customers. We are seeking a skilled Software Developer to join our dynamic team in Reston, VA and support our government customer in driving innovation, efficiency, and security within the evolving government mission and information technology landscape.

The Software Developer will play a key role in developing and maintaining mission applications, including Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) applications, and integrating front-end and back-end systems using Agile methodologies. The successful candidate will perform software development, coding, testing, debugging, and deployment of secure applications while collaborating closely with Government developers and technical stakeholders to ensure solutions meet established performance, security, quality, and mission requirements.

Essential Job Functions:

Develop, maintain, and enhance mission applications, including applications supporting OSINT and Intelligence Analysis.

Integrate front-end and back-end systems using Agile software development methodologies.

Perform software coding, testing, debugging, and deployment of secure applications.

Collaborate with Government developers and other technical stakeholders to develop and deliver mission-focused software solutions.

Ensure applications adhere to established performance, security, quality, and development standards.

Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, development, testing, and deployment.

Support the integration, enhancement, and maintenance of applications to meet evolving mission and customer requirements.

Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and technical issues.

Contribute to software design, development, testing, and continuous improvement efforts.

Required Skills:

U.S. Citizenship is required due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements.

Active Top Secret/SCI clearance and must be able to obtain a polygraph.

Polygraph must have been completed within the last 10% of the required experience period.

Bachelor's degree in an area related to the labor category from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.

Intelligence Community (IC) experience is required.

Agile software development experience is required.

Eight (8) years of experience in Agile software development, including integrating front-end and back-end systems, following Agile development practices, and performing software coding, testing, and deployment of secure applications.

A portion of the required experience must have been obtained within the last two (2) years.

Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining secure software applications in a mission-focused environment.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively with Government developers, technical teams, and mission stakeholders.

Desired Skills:

Master's degree in a related field is desired.

Experience developing applications that support Intelligence Analysis, particularly Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT), is highly desirable.

Experience working with mission applications supporting the Intelligence Community.

Experience integrating front-end and back-end software components.

Experience working in a secure government or defense environment.
