Position Summary
Project Manager will manage our projects from the point of sale to the close-out documents is a challenging task that is crucial to our success.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Managing multiple projects from award of business to final closeout.
- Create and manage the master project schedule, driving team progress to the schedule.
- Verifying company and subcontractor designs and concepts meet the as-sold scope of work
- Manage the project submittal process with the Project Engineer, outside vendors and sub-contractors.
- Manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs.
- Coordinate internal resources and contract manufacturers, vendors, and sub-contractors to ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
- Manage the relationship with the customer and all project stakeholders.
- Establish, manage, and coordinate installation schedule with customer. Coordinate installation with the Field Installation Manager.
- Tracking of project budgets, ensuring each phase of the project is within plan, identifying and mitigating risks to the project's success.
- Main point of contact between company and Customers.
- Regular reporting on job progress and costs to management.
- Managing subcontractors that support the installation.
Requirements:
- Cradle to grave Project Management experience
- Ability to effectively and efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously
- 2 years Minimum of Engineering Background
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications • Ability to lead, manage and motivate project teams
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure
- Strong negotiating skills • Pass background checks and pass a drug screening
- Up to 30% travel, but based out of the Decatur, AL office
- Must pass a Background & Drug screen
- Shift:Shift: 1st Shift – Monday–Friday 6:00AM–4:00PM
- Pay: $110k-$130K Yearly Salary
