Encoder Operator

We are seeking a detail-oriented Digital Numbering Press Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining digital numbering press equipment, ensuring accurate numbering, print quality, and timely completion of production orders

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for operation of multiple printers/presses to apply MICR toner to printed checks and forms.
• Verifies that the MICR number and the start number match the specifications given for each order.
• Pulls printed samples from the beginning and end of each order, voids them and places them in the job jackets.
• Prints reams labels and applies to chipboard, breaks each order down into the appropriate sand places chipboard to top and bottom.
• Maintains and electronic production log recording all stocks that are used on each order.
• Performs minor maintenance on equipment as needed.
• Maintains a clean and organized work area
