Lead With Impact in Ripon, WI
Own the performance of a high-volume stamping press department as the first-line leader on 2nd shift. You’ll coordinate people, equipment, and processes to meet schedule, quality, and safety goalsMonday–Thursday, 3:00 pm–1:00 am (with additional work days as needed).

- Safety drives everything: Enforce policies, conduct audits, lead incident and near-miss root-cause reviews, and ensure PPE compliance and up-to-date training.
- People power results: Develop operators and technicians, coach performance, cross-train, and recognize contributions. Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations and work with Union Stewards on contract and discipline matters.
- Throughput and quality at scale: Supervise daily press operations, optimize manpower, assign work to maximize machine utilization, and maintain on-time delivery under demanding schedules.
- Continuous improvement mindset: Drive Lean, 5S, and Kaizen. Analyze downtime, scrap, and bottlenecks; implement countermeasures with Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering.
- Clear communication: Keep precise production, quality, and safety records. Report KPIs and partner cross-functionally to resolve quality, tooling, and maintenance issues quickly.
What You’ll Lead
- Day-to-day coordination of area/zone activities to meet production requirements.
- Team development through coaching, training plans, and cross-training initiatives.
- Rapid troubleshooting to reduce downtime and sustain flow.
What You Bring
- Demonstrated servant leadership.
- 1–3 years of experience in fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing.
- Manufacturing supervisory background; stamping press experience strongly preferred.
- Working knowledge of Lean tools and CI practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing Engineering, or Operations preferred.
- Internship/co-op experience considered as relevant experience.
Physical Requirements
- Stooping, bending, standing for long periods; manual dexterity; ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.
Schedule
- 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:00 pm–1:00 am; additional work days may be needed.
