Grote Automotive is looking for a Part-Time Service Lot Porter to join our team and help keep our dealership and service department running smoothly.

You’ll be a hands-on part of the team, helping move vehicles, keep the lot organized, prepare vehicles for customers, and support our service advisors and technicians throughout the day.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is dependable, hardworking, comfortable working outdoors, and enjoys staying busy. You’ll work with a team that values good work, teamwork, and a positive attitude.

Compensation:

$15 - $17 hourly


Responsibilities:
What Will You Be Doing?

As a Part-Time Service Lot Porter, you’ll help keep the lot and service area organized while supporting the team throughout the day.

Your day may include:

  • Moving vehicles safely move vehicles to and from the service area and lot.
  • Keeping the lot organized make sure vehicles are parked neatly and the lot stays clean and presentable.
  • Keeping things clean help maintain a clean, safe, and organized service area.
  • Helping the service team work with service advisors and technicians to keep vehicles moving where they need to go.
  • Welcoming customers greet customers and help direct them to the right person.
  • Checking vehicles help make sure vehicles are ready for customers and report any concerns you notice.

You’ll stay busy, work with a great team, and play an important role in keeping our dealership moving!


Qualifications:
What Are We Looking For?

You don’t need previous dealership experience to do well in this role. We’re looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking, comfortable staying active, and ready to be part of a team.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • A strong work ethic and willingness to stay productive
  • Good attention to detail and pride in keeping things clean and organized
  • A friendly, customer-focused attitude
  • Ability to follow directions and work well with a team
  • Flexibility to handle changing priorities throughout the day
  • Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities

Automotive or dealership experience is a plus, but it’s not required. If you’re dependable, ready to work, and looking for a great part-time opportunity, we want to meet you!
