CNC Operator
Automation Personnel Services is hiring aCNC Operatorfor a manufacturing company inLawrenceville, GA. $20.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
CNC Operator Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate CNC lathes and mills for production runs.
- Perform in-process inspections of manufactured components and complete quality documentation.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on machines as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow established maintenance plans and operating procedures.
- Prioritize workflow through effective communication with management.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
- Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
CNC Operator Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous CNC machining or machine operating experience preferred.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, production documents, and safety procedures.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations, including fractions and decimals.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, and use hands throughout the shift.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
