Automation Personnel Services is looking for aMaterial Handlerfor a company based inDecatur,AL.In this role, you will have the opportunity tohelp bandstackedproducts and then move the bundles with a combi lift off the line.
Pay Rate
$19.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday throughThursday,600 am to430 pm.
Material HandlerDuties and Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently, following company policies and procedures.
- Load and unload materials from trucks, racks, and other storage areas, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Transport materials to designated locations within the facility, maintaining inventory accuracy and organization.
- Inspect and maintain forklifts regularly, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel for repair.
- Closelyfollow safety regulations and guidelines at all times, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and securing loads properly.
Material HandlerQualifications and Requirements
- Valid forklift operator certification or license obtained through a recognized training program.
- Proficiency in operatinga combi lift.
- Ability to understand and follow safety protocols and operating instructions to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Physical strength and staminato liftand move heavy loads safely and efficiently.
- Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination to maneuver equipment in tight spaces and navigate busy warehouse environments.
