Job Description: Manufacturing Engineer

The Manufacturing Engineer designs, implements, and optimizes manufacturing processes to improve production efficiency, product quality, and workplace safety. This role serves as a critical link between engineering and production teams, ensuring the effective use of equipment, materials, and labor. The Manufacturing Engineer leads continuous improvement initiatives, supports the introduction of new products, equipment, and capabilities, and resolves technical issues within manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop manufacturing processes that improve production efficiency, product quality, and workplace safety.
• Implement and refine manufacturing workflows to ensure optimal use of equipment, materials, and labor.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to align process design with operational requirements.
• Lead and support continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
• Drive process improvement projects to enhance throughput, reduce waste, and improve overall equipment effectiveness.
• Support new product introductions by developing and validating manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Assist with the introduction of new equipment and capabilities, including process setup, optimization, and documentation.
• Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve technical issues affecting manufacturing operations.
• Utilize CAD software to support manufacturing engineering activities, including process layout, tooling, and fixture design.
• Monitor manufacturing processes and equipment performance, recommending and implementing improvements as needed.
• Ensure manufacturing processes comply with safety standards and support a safe working environment.
• Contribute to maintaining high product quality standards consistent with industry-leading expectations.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and production equipment.
• Hands-on experience working with CAD software.
• Proficiency in manufacturing engineering principles and practices.
• Experience with lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Ability to apply Six Sigma concepts to process improvement and problem-solving.
• Skill in conducting root cause analysis to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Demonstrated capability in process improvement within a manufacturing environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of Beloit, WI.

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in Beloit,WI.

This position is anticipated to close on Oct 6, 2026.
