Quality Engineer

Pro-Active Engineering has an opening for a Quality Engineer. In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving the Quality Management System under the direction of the Quality Manager.

Essential Functions

• Review effectiveness of existing Quality processes.
• Lead problem-solving efforts to determine root cause and develop corrective actions.
• Create, review, and update controlled process documentation.
• Define, implement, and evaluate process validation tools.
• Lead cross-functional continuous improvement projects.
• Compile and analyze data to drive organizational change efforts.
• Conduct internal audits of the Quality Management System.
• Maintain monitoring and measuring equipment (MME) system.
• Review capability to comply with customer requirements.

Required Education and Experience

Preferred Education and Experience

• Working knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing
• Working knowledge of Measurement Systems Analysis
• Auditing of ISO9001:2015 or comparable quality system
• Statistical analysis in a manufacturing environment
• ANSI/ESD S20.20 controls
• SQL or VBA
