OSP Project Manager

A telecom company based in New York is looking for a OSP Fiber Project Manager to join their team. The Project Manager will spend their day overseeing multiple fiber construction projects from planning through final customer delivery, ensuring schedules, budgets, resources, and project milestones remain on track. They will work closely with engineering, permitting, construction, field operations, and external contractors to coordinate aerial and underground fiber deployments, manage route planning and construction activities, and resolve project risks before they impact delivery. This individual will regularly engage with municipalities, utility providers, and right-of-way authorities to support permitting efforts, while also reviewing construction documentation, fiber route maps, splice plans, and project financials. A significant portion of the role involves leading project status meetings, communicating updates to customers and executive stakeholders, managing vendors and contractors, monitoring budgets and change orders, and driving projects through construction, splicing, testing, and final acceptance. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced telecommunications environment and have a strong understanding of OSP fiber construction, network deployment, and data center connectivity projects. This position is hybrid, based out of one of the following locations: Colorado, Arizona, New York, New Jersey, or Ohio.
