Responsibilities
The DEA Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that align with business objectives and customer needs. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional product teams to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient applications using modern technologies and agile practices. Engineers are expected to apply a product mindset, embrace continuous integration and delivery, and ensure software quality through rigorous testing and data-driven improvements. Success in this role requires adaptability, strong technical expertise, and a commitment to continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in one or more programming languages and frameworks, with the ability to design maintainable code and apply design patterns and engineering best practices.
- Ability to understand product goals and user needs and translate them into effective technical solutions that deliver business value.
- Ability to work effectively with product managers, designers, QA, and engineers to deliver high-quality features and resolve technical or delivery challenges.
- Ability to incorporate analytics, logs, and system metrics into development and validation processes to continuously improve product performance and reliability.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies, adapt to evolving product priorities, and actively contribute to team knowledge-sharing and engineering improvement initiatives
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- At least three years of professional experience with data engineering tools and cloud platforms (e.g., SQL, Python, Spark, AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Strong understanding of data modeling, architecture, and governance best practices.
- Experience with analytics, BI, and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Familiarity with ML/AI engineering, MLOps, and model deployment practices.
- Expertise in data integration, API design, and event-driven architectures.
- Product mindset with ability to prioritize by value, outcomes, and customer impact.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and business teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field preferred or similar coding education alternatives to traditional four-year degrees.
