Desired Qualifications:
- Active licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in the state of Indiana
- Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations
- Familiarity with IEP processes, progress monitoring, and reporting
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with educators, parents, and staff
- Strong organizational abilities to manage caseloads and documentation
- Flexibility and adaptability to quickly integrate into a new educational environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students with a range of needs in accordance with their IEPs
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine individual therapy requirements
- Develop and implement targeted therapy interventions, modifications, and strategies to promote student success
- Collaborate closely with teachers and support teams to optimize classroom participation and address barriers to learning
- Maintain accurate records and provide timely progress updates for student documentation
- Communicate regularly with families and caregivers to support skill carryover at home
