Pathlink is seeking an Experienced Pathology Assistant to work part time at Memorial Medical Center in La Cruces, New Mexico.
Join our pathology team at Pathlink. We are seeking a detail-oriented Pathologist Assistant to support our pathologists in a collaborative high-quality laboratory enviroment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with gross examination and dissection of surgical specimens
- Process, label and document tissue specimens
- Submit tissue for histologic examination
- Maintain accurate records and comply with safety and quality standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences or related field required
- PA (ASCP) certification preferred.
- Previous pathology, histology, or laboratory experience preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
