Engineering - Design Engineer

Location: Littleton, CO (Onsite)
Pay: $68.51 per hour
Employment type: Contract (W-2), approximately 12 months, with opportunity for full-time conversion
Schedule: 5/40, 1st shift
Security clearance: Active Secret; may start unclassified work while clearance processes

Circuit Design Engineer developing a state of the art avionics product, owning digital schematic capture, electrical analysis and integration support on a cross-functional team.

• Design and capture electrical schematics and guide PCB layouts
• Perform Worst Case Analysis and Electrical Parts Stress Analysis
• Develop and integrate avionics systems with a cross-functional team
• Resolve test anomalies, support product certification and system level testing

• Bachelor's or higher in Electrical Engineering or related (6 to 10 years with BS, 4 to 8 with MS)
• Digital circuit design at the card/board level (schematic and analysis)
• 4 to 6 years of schematic development and systems analysis and design
• 1 to 2 years of FMEA and circuit failure mode analysis
• Missile design experience; experience with government customers
• Active DoD Secret clearance (U.S. citizenship)

• Xpedition schematic capture
• PSPICE, Saber or similar simulation
• FMECA and failure investigation at CCA, unit and system level

Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.
