Machine Operator / Production Assembler
Location: Jacksonville, FL
Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour (DOE)
Shift: 2nd Shift 2PM - 10:30PM (Sunday–Thursday)
Job Summary
We are seeking reliable and motivated Machine Operators / Production Assemblers to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for operating production equipment, assembling products, inspecting completed work, and maintaining quality and safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates with CNC machining experience are encouraged to apply, although it is not required.
Responsibilities
- Operate production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assemble products according to work instructions and specifications.
- Perform quality inspections to ensure products meet company standards.
- Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and production instructions.
- Make minor machine adjustments as needed.
- Operate CNC equipment when applicable (experience is a plus).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Accurately complete production documentation.
- Work effectively with team members to meet daily production goals.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, machine operator, or production assembly experience preferred.
- CNC machining experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to read blueprints and use basic measuring tools is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform repetitive bending, reaching, and lifting.
