Engineering - Design Engineer

Location: Grand Prairie, TX (Onsite)
Pay: $71.92 per hour, overtime eligible
Employment type: Contract (W-2), approximately 12 months
Schedule: 4/10, 1st shift; limited telework (<50%)
Security clearance: Secret required to start

Material Review Board (MRB) Design Engineer supporting missile production, identifying and resolving production issues, defects and failures with cross-functional teams, often under tight timelines.

• Review non-conforming hardware in the MRB process for performance impacts
• Identify root cause and ensure corrective action to prevent recurrence
• Coordinate across mechanical, quality and manufacturing teams
• Lead investigations and report status to leadership in weekly reviews

• Bachelor's degree, preferably in engineering
• 4+ years of GD&T per ASME Y14.5 and tolerance analysis
• 2+ years of Creo
• 4+ years of root cause and corrective action
• 4+ years reading engineering drawings, parts lists and specifications
• Active Secret clearance required to start

• Failure analysis experience
