PositionOverview:

We are looking for a self-motivatedstudentfrom Northeastern Universitywith a background inElectrical Engineering, Physics,orMusic Technology, and is ready to work with a cross functional engineering team to turn concepts into production ready designs.A co-op in this role can expect to work on new product developmentfor audio signal processors andpower amplifiers.They will have the opportunity to perform schematic capture, PCB layout,debug, andtesting oncomplex mixed signal designs. They will be exposed to small signal analog audio,high speed digital, power conversion, andhigh-poweraudio amplifier design.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Read and understandblock diagrams, schematics, and layout files.
• Perform simulations of circuit modifications, or new circuits.
• Prototypecircuit modifications, and new circuits.
• Make editsand draftportions of block diagrams, schematics, and layout files in Altium Designer.
• Read test plans and performin-circuit testing and debug.
• Clearlydocument andcommunicate findings toothers in the company.
• Performaudio performance measurements with Audio Precision analyzers.
• Break down complex systems and issues into manageablechunks that can beeasilyaccomplished.
• Perform rework ofsurface mount PCBAs.

Qualifications:

• Junior/Senior level classes completed or in progressat Northeastern University
• Experience withspice circuit simulation.
• Experience with schematic capture, and layout. (Altium Designer or similar)
• Hands on lab experience withpower supplies, signal generators, oscilloscopes, logicanalyzers.
• Hands on experience soldering and makingprototype PCBAs.
• Knowledgeof audio and a passion for music!
