Customer Service Representative (Part-Time): Loves Park, Illinois
Our customer in Loves Park, Illinois, is seeking a motivated individual to join their team. We're recruiting a Customer Service Representative to workpart-time on 1st shift. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support, processing orders, maintaining accurate records, and serving as a key point of contact for customer inquiries.
Responsibilities of theCustomer Service Representative:
- Answerinboundcustomer inquiries.
- Enter new part numbers into the Epicor system.
- Review incoming customer orders to confirm pricing matches quoted amounts.
- Process customer purchase orders in the Epicor system.
- Process customer return and credit requests.
- Research and respond to customer inquiries regarding open orders.
- Follow up on outstanding customer quotes.
- Maintain department filing and recordkeeping systems.
- Scan and save prints, orders, and other documents to the appropriate job records within the system.
Customer Service RepresentativeRequirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of customer service experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Positive attitude and confidence when interacting with customers and team members.
- Experience using ERP systems, such as Epicor, is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Pay forCustomer Service Representative:$17.00–$18.00/hour.
