Position:Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager
Location:Seattle(North Seattle)
Schedule:Monday-Friday
Pay:$90,000-$110,000/yearDOE
Express Employment Professionals – NorthSeattleis recruiting an experienced EHS Manager for a well-established metal finishing company inSeattle. This is a direct hire opportunity to lead safety and environmental compliance at a facility working with plating, anodizing, and non-destructive testing processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead all EHS efforts at the facility:goal setting, compliance priorities, budgeting, and performance tracking
- Manage core safety programs including Emergency Response, Fire Prevention, HazCom/GHS, RCRA, Hearing Conservation, Lockout/Tagout, PPE, Safety Committee, and EHS training
- Coordinate environmental compliance: permitting, emissions control, hazardous waste management, and wastewater treatment
- Oversee incident investigations from prompt reporting through root cause analysis and corrective action
- Build a strong safety culture through employee engagement, internal communications, and training programs
- Maintain records and data to satisfy regulatory requirements and internal quality audits
- Lead and train the plant emergency management team
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical field
- 5+ years of applicable EHS experience
- Strong communication, computer, and presentation skills
- Proven ability to plan and implement EHS programs
- Ability to work effectively across all levels anddepartments
PreferredRequirements
- 3+ years of EHS management in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
- Aerospace or metal finishing background
- Technical writing and training experience
