Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager to join our software organization. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in agile software product development, cross-functional program leadership, and metrics-driven delivery and a proven ability to scope technical designs, drive execution across teams, manage risk, and deliver on-time, high-quality software for print New Product Introductions (NPIs).

Responsibilities:

• Scope and define technical design and delivery approach for software features, solutions, and products supporting print NPIs.
• Refine requirements, decompose work into customer-valued deliverables, and identify synergies with existing HP systems.
• Plan and execute multiple projects or programs, communicating status and decisions across levels of management.
• Perform program analysis, manage risk, drive course corrections, and escalate issues when required to protect scope, schedule, and quality.
• Continuously assess and improve software development lifecycle processes and quality plans.
• Define, track, and report key metrics and performance indicators to drive cross-functional execution.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience delivering commercial software using agile development practices.
• Proven ability to manage cross-organizational software programs from initiation through release.
• Hands-on experience defining, developing, and reporting engineering and program metrics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with large-scale systems.
• Experience with controlled software release processes and product lifecycle management tools.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or demonstrated equivalent competence.
• Typically 4-6 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Background in NPI program management for hardware-adjacent or embedded software products.
• Experience coordinating across Marketing, Design, and R&D in hybrid environments.
