Safety Representative
Location: Terrell, TX
Job Type: 11-Month Contract
Pay: $28–$35/hour
Hours: 40–50 hours per week
Per Diem: None
We are seeking an experienced Safety Representative to support an 11-month electrical construction project at an Amazon Distribution Center in Terrell, TX. This is a local opportunity with an electrical contractor, and candidates must currently be located in the DFW area.
Responsibilities
- Support daily safety operations on an active electrical construction project.
- Conduct routine jobsite safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
- Help ensure employees and subcontractors are following company and project safety requirements.
- Conduct and assist with safety meetings, toolbox talks, and jobsite orientations.
- Monitor safe work practices and address safety concerns in the field.
- Assist with incident reporting and documentation.
- Maintain required safety records and documentation.
- Promote a strong safety culture across the project.
- Work closely with field supervision and project management to maintain a safe work environment.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of construction safety experience.
- Experience supporting electrical construction projects preferred.
- OSHA 30 certification required.
- CPR and First Aid certification required.
- Strong understanding of construction safety practices and OSHA requirements.
- Ability to work effectively in an active construction environment.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Must be local to the DFW area.

- This is a construction safety position supporting an electrical contractor, not an IT/data center safety position.
