Industrial Power Distribution Project Manager

Your impact (core responsibilities)
- Lead field supervisors, electricians, subcontractors, and vendors to deliver high-quality installations.
- Manage procurement, material deliveries, and on-site logistics to meet aggressive timelines.
- Run recurring progress reviews and publish consistent reporting to stakeholders.
- Proactively identify schedule risks and deploy corrective actions.
- Unblock field issues affecting conveyor and material handling power installations.
- Ensure OSHA and NEC compliance throughout execution.
- Oversee budgets and maintain tight cost control.
What you bring
- Background managing industrial electrical installation projects with an electrical contractor in distribution or light industrial facilities.
- Experience supervising electrical crews and subcontracted electricians.
- Expertise in reading and interpreting electrical drawings, installation documents, one-lines, and layouts.
- Success managing multiple fast-paced projects at once.
- Experience with material handling systems, conveyor power installation, or warehouse buildouts.
- Knowledge of the NEC and industrial electrical standards.
- Ability to travel 10%–20% as projects require and a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Preferred
- Project experience for logistics leaders (Amazon, FedEx, UPS, DHL, or similar).
- Hands-on familiarity with 480V distribution, MCCs, panels, conduit, and cable tray.
- PMP certification (nice to have)
- Scheduling proficiency (MS Project or comparable tools)
