Industrial Mechatronics Technician II

On our 2nd Shift (Mon–Thu, 3:00 pm–1:00 am), you will keep high-performance manufacturing equipment humming by blending electrical know-how, mechanical savvy, and a calm approach to troubleshooting. You will have clear direction, dependable teammates, and the satisfaction of seeing your impact on production every night.

You arrive, review work orders in the CMMS, and prioritize urgent items. A machine controller throws a faultno problem. You interpret the schematic, test the PLC I/O, and isolate a faulty sensor. Later, you rebuild a motor with worn brushes, verify hydraulic pressures on a press, and fine-tune a pneumatic circuit for consistent cycle times. Before clocking out, you walk down a new install, verifying panels, breakers, conduit runs, and lighting circuits against drawingssafety first, performance always.

• Design and validate minor electrical circuits; test and troubleshoot PLC, electronic, and electrical control systems.
• Diagnose issues in hydraulic and pneumatic systems and restore them to spec.
• Install electrical/electronic controls on equipment using schematics and blueprints.
• Apply working knowledge of facility electrical power and water distribution systems.
• Perform essential mechanical repairs alongside electrical work.
• Handle tasks covered by lower classifications and, at times, provide direction to those roles.
• Dismantle electrical machinery; replace components such as brushes and armatures.
• Commission and monitor installed electrical equipment for hazards, adjustment needs, or replacement.
• Read blueprints; work from sketches and verbal instructions with minimal oversight.
• Lay out, assemble, install, test, repair, and adjust fixtures, apparatus, wiring, and new services (panels, breakers, conduit).
• Mount motors, transformers, and lighting; complete circuits per diagram specifications.
• Repair, install, replace, and test electrical circuits and equipment with proper tools and test instruments.
• Tackle varied assignments as directed by the Group Leader.

2nd Shift M–Th, 3:00 pm–1:00 am

• Associate degree (2-year) plus 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Comfort using computers to identify parts and document work in a CMMS.
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, stoop, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity.
• Capability to pass a pre-employment physical, including a baseline lift test of at least 50 lbs.

• Passing a pre-employment drug screen and background check

• Hourly Rate: $37.28–$41.56, commensurate with experience and qualifications
• Sign-On Bonus: $5,000 upon successful hiring
