Trinity Memory Care is looking to hire a Cook for our Dining Services Department.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of a wide variety of scratch cooking menu items.
• Able to follow standardized recipes.
• Cleans and maintains work areas, utensils, and equipment.
• Consistently maintains standards of quality, presentation, and flavor of foods.
• Works closely with team members, caregivers, dietary aides, dishwashers, management
• Previous cooking experience in a healthcare setting strongly desired.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and work independently.
• Must be dependable.
• Shifts are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (6a-6p) and Wednesday (6a-12p)
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must successfully pass AHCA level 2 background check and drug screening.
• Medical, Dental, Vision insurance is offered beginning after 60 days.

Job includes cooking/serving/plating 3 meals a day for residents in dining room and preparing daily snacks. Menu has been created by a registered dietitian and is to be followed (substitutions can occur) which provides 2 feature entrees at every mealtime (8am,12pm,5pm) and an "always available" menu selection.

Previous cooking experience in healthcare setting preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
