Experienced Masonry Helper - Concrete Block Installation

Pay: $22.00–$27.00 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated masonry skills

Work Area: Job sites throughout South Florida, from Miami-Dade to West Palm Beach

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix, and supply mortar to block masons.
• Move and stage concrete blocks, tools, and materials.
• Assist masons during block installation and follow their instructions.
• Keep materials stocked and accessible throughout the workday.
• Clean tools and maintain an organized work area.
• Follow jobsite safety procedures and work closely with the masonry crew.

Requirements

• Previous hands-on experience as a masonry helper on a concrete block installation crew.
• Familiarity with mortar preparation, block handling, and the daily needs of block masons.
• Ability to follow directions and work dependably as part of a crew.
• Ability to perform physical work and handle construction materials outdoors.
• Reliable transportation and availability to travel to job sites between Miami-Dade and West Palm Beach.

Prior block-crew experience is required. General construction, demolition, or cleanup experience alone does not meet this requirement.
