Machine Setup Operator

Do you enjoy working on machinery, troubleshooting problems, and making mechanical adjustments? We're hiring a Machine Setup Operator to join a growing manufacturing team that produces precision wire-formed products.

Pay: $20-$25/hr (based on experience)

Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 6:00 AM-2:30 PM or 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

Location: Fenton, MO

Type: Contract-to-Hire

• Set up, adjust, and operate wire-forming production machines
• Perform machine changeovers and tooling adjustments
• Troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime
• Monitor production runs and make machine setting adjustments
• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools
• Read blueprints, work instructions, and manufacturing specifications
• Maintain quality, safety, and productivity standards

• Experience with machine setup, machine operation, maintenance, or mechanical troubleshooting
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers
• Ability to read blueprints and technical work instructions
• Manufacturing, automotive, maintenance, mechanic, or skilled trades experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an industrial environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fenton, MO.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
