Culinary Aide

Peach Tree Village Assisted Living is seeking a Culinary Aide to join our amazing team. The Culinary Aide position will coordinate with the Culinary Director and serve as an essential role in supporting the culinary department

Compassion for caring and serving the elderly is the most critical characteristic we are seeking for the Culinary Aide position. This position also requires a high energy, positive-minded team player. Many duties are assigned to the Culinary Aide position to include but not limited to aid chefs in preparing food, rotating stock, organizing supplies, deep cleaning in dining areas and kitchen equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assists Cooks and Chefs as directed
• Prepares and labels nourishments according to Community procedures
• Prepares entre and non-entre foods into dishes; pour beverages
• Follows production sheets and pre-preparation sheets or guidelines when appropriate and required

QUALIFICATIONS

• The Culinary Aide candidate will have good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to read and understand English for business necessity
• Basic understanding of sanitation, organization and safety
• Prior experience in food service preferred
• Prior experience in Assisted Living Community culinary preferred
