About the Role:
TM Bus Inc is looking for a dedicated and safety-focused CDL School Bus Driver to join our team in the Spring Valley, NY! Responsibilities:
- Safely transport students to and from school and school-related activities along assigned routes
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure bus is in safe operating condition
- Maintain order and enforce safety rules for all passengers on the bus
- Follow all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies at all times
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, school staff, and parents as needed
- Complete accurate daily logs, incident reports, and other required documentation
- Assist students with special needs or disabilities when required
Requirements:
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements
- Clean driving record with no major traffic violations
- Must pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- Prior school bus or commercial driving experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Spring Valley/NYC roadways and traffic patterns a plus
- Patient, responsible, and dependable with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work split shifts, early mornings, and afternoons
