About the Role

The Receptionist is an integral part of operations ensuring customer inquiries are processed efficiently and accurately. This person is the first to greet customers of the bank and welcomes every opportunity to elevate the customer's experience, making them feel welcomed and valued.

Job Duties:

• Greet customers and vendors entering the bank.
• Provide directions to customers and vendors entering the bank.
• Answer the phone with a positive and warm tone.
• Determine the nature of all caller's inquiries to direct them to the appropriate employee or department.
• Maintain the waiting list for loan officers.
• Distribute the incoming mail.
• Receive and distribute incoming faxes.
• Order supplies for the branch.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

About You

Qualifications & Skills:

• Professional appearance and positive disposition with internal or external customer interactions.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of Bank records and customer transactions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional appearance and positive disposition with internal or external customer interactions.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to manage a multi-line telephone system and other office equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs.

Education, Experience & Licenses:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in an office setting preferred.

Work Location: Cypress Bank, SSB at 120 S. Greer Blvd. Pittsburg, TX 75686.

Schedule: 9:00am – 3:00pm Monday through Friday and 9:00am – 5:30pm on Fridays with one hour lunch break each day.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to: sit; use hands in repetitive motions to finger, grasp, handle or feel; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to: stand; walk; and lift or reach with hands and arms. The employee must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.
