Part-Time Banquet Cook $27-$30/hour

Be part of the beautiful weddings and memorable events we produce. As a Banquet Cook with Wedgewood Weddings, you'll help create celebrations our clients and guests remember for a lifetime.

This is catering, not a restaurant line.

If you've worked la carte, you know the chaos: tickets firing at random, no idea what's coming, a rush that never quite ends. Banquet cooking is different. We know the guest count, we know the menu, and we know exactly when plates go out. It's high volume you'll serve hundreds in a night but it's planned volume. You'll cook with a game plan instead of reacting to one.

A schedule that works around your life

This is a part-time, hourly role. We work when our clients celebrate, so weekend availability is required but prep days are flexible, and we'll build a schedule around what works for you.

Room to grow

Plenty of our kitchen leaders started right here. If you want to run a kitchen someday, you'll have the opportunity to learn ordering, inventory, food cost, and event execution alongside our chef the whole operation, not just your station. Tell us that's your goal and we'll help you build toward it.

What you'll do

• Support the chef in executing banquets according to Banquet Event Order details and Wedgewood standards
• Prep, produce, and plate for full event execution
• Keep a clean kitchen cleaning as you work, closing procedures, and weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual deep cleans
• Receive deliveries from approved suppliers, verifying freshness and quality
• Stock and label all food to food safety protocols and FIFO procedures

What we're looking for

• Solid food handling and preparation skills
• Safety and sanitation knowledge you take seriously
• Efficiency and composure under pressure
• A team player with a "whatever it takes" attitude
• Banquet, catering, or restaurant experience preferred leadership experience is a plus, not a requirement
