About the Role:
Colonial Manor, a respected healthcare provider in Tulsa, OK, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate LPN or RN Charge Nurse to lead our nursing team from 7a to 7p. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring seamless operations during your shift.
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality patient care, demonstrating a patient-centered approach and empathy towards our residents
Supervise and mentor nursing staff, promoting a culture of respect and teamwork
Participate in shift-to-shift report to ensure continuity of care and communicate effectively with colleagues
Manage and prioritize daily tasks, ensuring efficient use of time and resources
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control guidelines and safety protocols
About the Job:
As an LPN Charge Nurse at Colonial Manor, you will have the opportunity to:
Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring
Supervise and delegate tasks to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs)
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient charts and medication administration records
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of care
Requirements:
Current LPN or RN licensure in the state of Oklahoma
Minimum 0 years of experience in a long-term care setting
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
